Alcoholic beverages contain calories which can increase the body weight. Thus, it could result to a higher blood pressure. Take note that it can also lead to the loss of brain cells, liver failure,stomach ulcers, epilepsy, and even some type of cancer. Bear in mind that too much of anything is bad. Lower the alcohol intake by checking the label for its units. Have only one glass a day if female or two glasses if male. Avoid peanuts and other snacks which can provoke you on having some more. Trying to mix the alcoholic beverage with some water so that it will last longer is also a good idea.Last but not the least, do you smoke? If no, do not even try. If yes, then be ready to throw that habit away. The tension nicotine and carbon monoxide mixture in a cigarette creates in the heart and blood vessels leads to an increase in the heart rate and blood pressure.
